Exploring the potentials of design for innovation in the Rwandan context.

The project „Design for Innovation“ aimed to adapt the design-based methods developed in terms of my former position at Fraunhofer Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) to the local context in Rwanda, thus creating a methodological toolbox for promoting digital innovation.
As part of the „Train-the-Trainer“ program, the potentials of design-based methods were explored in a co-creative setting with various local partner organizations from the public and private sectors. The goal concerning the client brief was to create an international knowledge-transfer to strengthen local methodological capacities to implement the „Smart Rwanda Master Plan“.

My tasks in this project contained from curriculum development, implementation and moderation three multi-day trainings in Kigali, development and design of training materials.
